Call for writers 📢 - Read & Write with Clind = Clever + Mind
We are looking for writers to join our happy curators
Hey! Gilles and the Clind community here.
It’s now been 4 months since we started this new flavor of Clind and The Timestamp.
We built a ‘curator community’ to help online writers reach a new audience by sharing every week some nuggets of knowledge. We’re pleased to report that The Timestamp now reaches 2,500 readers both free and paid.
Our curators have received claps and followers in the Clind app. They read and dissect anything interesting to share it with you in short-size summaries that we call key takeaways. Most of our vetted curators do write their own newsletter with the goal to grow their own readership. The Timestamp helps them by giving more visibility to their writing. The Clind app is now working on pushing these verified curators further.
If you are looking for an audience, some writing tips, and a community to read and write with, we’re here and ready to take your application to become a verified curator.
More details below, but here are the key takeaways:
We’re opening applications to join our vetted community of curators,
We have 20 slots available for new US writers looking to expand their audience for their newsletter,
We’re asking you to answer our questionnaire and submit a first takeaway in the Clind app about an article, book, or podcast you would like to write on,
If we like your application, we’ll feature your takeaways in The Timestamp,
Deadline to submit is September 17th, 2021.
What kind of writing do we publish in The Timestamp?
We love writing that helps people think and learn about the world in many different flavors. The overload of information is flooding us continuously; this is why we expect our curators to pick topics that are entertaining and informative… in bullet points or short summaries. We like summaries regrouping some key takeaways that are bringing high value to the reader and are actionable. Our 2,500 readers expect to feel nourished by key insights exploring various perspectives, industries, people, and contents.
At Clind, we think there is too much content on the internet, and we want to focus on the essentials, clever, respectful, and inclusive viewpoints and summaries. We think that a good summary can be as good as a good article, podcast, or book you might be interested in consuming in full after reading some key takeaways.
